A Crisis either kills you or makes you better! If it doesn’t kill you a crisis can be quite useful as it can help you evaluate where you are at as a person. There’s nothing like a bit of pressure to bring out one’s true colours! When one is under pressure, who a person really is will be on display for the whole world to see. A crisis can establish once and for all what you are really made of. That doesn’t have to be a bad thing. It can be seen as an opportunity to improve and work on weak areas. If you don’t like what’s on display, perhaps that’s the push you need to choose to change and better yourself!

When ever we are given a new piece of advice it is always worth taking the time to absorb and consider it. Don’t just rush in, instead take time to hold it up against what you have already learned to trust. It will save you from many problems later!

Unfortunately we have to learn to live with the painful consequences of accepting bad advice! However learning from hard and costly lessons gives us a wisdom we didn’t start off with, but surely acquire after the event. The point is all doesn’t have to be lost! You can start again with wisdom this time, and even pass on what you have learned to others!
